Need a "pop" of color on the outside of the home?
To gain exterior colors on vinyl home window frames, homeowners can request Decorum by Simonton painted color offerings of Brick, Bronze, Chocolate, Cream, Driftwood, Pine and Tan. Matching grids can be ordered for the windows. On the interior, Decorum options of Maple, Antique Cherry and Contemporary Oak woodgrains can be requested on vinyl windows in addition to traditional White, Tan and Driftwood options.
"Imagine the unique look of a replacement window or new construction window with a Pine green exterior and matching grids, but when you're in the home's living room you see a Maple woodgrain interior to complement the furnishings," says John Stark, marketing manager for Simonton Windows. "Then, in the upstairs bedrooms, you still have Maple exteriors on the windows, but you may have White or Tan interiors. These options are what allow homeowners to truly customize their windows and doors."
The Decorum options also include upgrades on window and door hardware, including Dark Bronze, Brushed Nickel, Oil-rubbed Bronze, Antique Brass and Polished Brass. Standard hardware options of White, Tan and Driftwood also exist.
"Today's homeowner doesn't make an isolated door or window decision," says Stark. "They look at these products to determine how they fit in with the overall exterior and interior of the house.
