U.S. Window and Door Sales Projected to Increase 10% yearly Through 2017


According to a story this week in DWM Magazine online, world demand for doors and windows will reach $223 billion in 2017.The story states that the U.S. market for doors and windows is forecast to post a strong recovery and see gains of more than 10 percent per year through 2017.

World Windows & Doors, a new study from The Freedonia Group Inc., a Cleveland-based market research firm, reports that growth is being driven by recoveries in the building construction markets of many developed countries.

The study also reveals that continued strong increases in building construction activity in developing areas such as the Africa/Mideast region and South America -- will boost demand.
