Award-Winning Southern Show Home Boasts Simonton Windows

A Key West conch-style home I recently constructed just won a Diamond Award in the 10^th Annual Brunswick County (N.C.) Home Builders Association Parade of Homes. The design features almost 50 Simonton ProFinish^® Master windows to move light throughout the interior  of the house.

The 3,070-square-foot show home was designed by Ocean 3 Designs out of Wilmington, N.C. and visited by hundreds during the Parade of Homes event. Priced in the $400,000 to $500,000 range, the ENERGY STAR^® 3 compliant home was presold before the parade of homes.

It’s the universal energy efficiency, quality and details of the home that make this house a winner. The Simonton windows are a great example. Their quality of construction and ease of installation and operation, matched up with their thermal factors and wind ratings simply can’t be beat.

Accented by Bahama-style decorative shutters on the exterior of the tower staircase, each custom-made Simonton ProFinish Master window in this home features ProSolar^® Low E glass with an Argon gas fill and crisp white vinyl frames. The Intercept spacer system and dual glazed insulated glass units help ensure maximum energy efficiency and that every window meets ENERGY STAR requirements.
