Renovating La Habra Woods

Forty years after being constructed, the exteriors of the La Habra Woods apartment complex were in bad shape. Original plywood siding and wood trim work around the aluminum-framed windows had begun to rot. Worse yet, the windows leaked air and had no energy efficiency features to combat the searing southern California sun.

That’s when Schroeder Management Company hired us to give an exterior facelift to the 127 apartments. We did this work in stages over a year. Eventually all 13 buildings in the complex had new stucco exterior facades and 767 low-maintenance Simonton vinyl windows and patio doors.

Our company specializes in large multi-family projects. Year after year we rely on Simonton replacement products for large renovation work. For this project, we installed Low E/Argon-filled glass packages that are double glazed to help lower the energy bills for the apartment renters. These windows also help keep harmful UV rays out of the apartments which can cause fading on furnishings, carpets and window treatments.
